Sustainability award

In 2017, TMTE and MKSZ established an award for the textile and clothing industry, as well as leather, leather product and footwear manufacturing companies, which play an outstanding role in the field of sustainability. The award was founded in connection with the 25th anniversary of the international OEKO-TEX® organization committed to sustainability, whose certificates issued by independent institutes are authentic and transparent evidence of the performance of the certified company in the field of human health, environmental protection and social responsibility.

Award name: Commitment for Textile Sustainability (Commitment to sustainably produced textile products).

"Naturtex was the first in Hungary to obtain the certification of sustainable textile production. The purpose of this certification is to ensure that environmentally friendly technological processes are used in production, ensuring optimal work safety and social conditions for employees.

Its environmentally friendly production process meets the requirements defined by the STeP by OEKO-TEX® standard."
